The Multi-Blogger and the Multi-Blogging Toolbox by Francis Perrone

Blogging is great fun. Multi-blogging makes money. The combination of fun and money is the greatest thing a working person can wish for: A job that you enjoy that pays money that can be done while you lay in bed, sit on the beach, or anywhere where there is a computer. All monetized blogs that are indexed on the search engines will make money here and there. Interesting blogs that are maintained with fresh content make even more money. Interesting blogs with a following make a Whole lot of money! Even if your work isn't all that great and not particularly interesting you will still get visitors because an indexed website is available all over the world.
Blogging is cheap. Web hosting in cheap (usually less that 10 dollars per month). A domain name is between 1.99 and 13.99 usually and that's per year! WordPress is free and you can add a whole boatload of domains under the same web hosting account. I have many blogs and get and all i pay is around 8 bucks a month total. So, why not make a lot of blogs? With multiple blogs you can
* Establish a name for yourself on the internet * Make enough money to quit your day job and live comfortably from your internet income. * Work when you want to and have freedom to live your life
When I first started blogging I knew very little about wordpress or plugins, monetization, or how to get a website optimized for the search engines. Now I can teach a class on all of these things because it is fun, and interesting, and never gets old.
A Multi-Blogger is someone who owns many blogs. Owning many blogs has many advantages:
* You can cross-reference your blogs one to another. * You can promote different blogs on different sites for nothing. * The more blogs you have the more money you make. * Your blogs become more polished and professional with each new blog. * You make a name for yourself on the internet.
Now, let's open up the Multi-Blogger's toolbox and see what's inside:
A Domain Name provider and a WebHost. Here are some of the finest domain name providers
Register.com Domain.com http://www.GoDaddy.com
I have recommended the three sites above for the reason that these fine sites can give you the domain name of your choice and host it for you. This is a big plus if you are not familiar with FTP and want quickness and ease on your blog making efforts. Out of these three I find Go Daddy to be the easiest for the wordpress blog hosting. They even set the first one up for you and have excellent 24/7 customer service. If you do not wish to use Go Daddy, there are other Wordpress friendly web hosting companies such as BLUE HOST DREAMHOST
So, we now have our main tools out on the work bench, which is our domain name and hosting providers, because we need these in order to bring our vision to life on the internet. Now let us pull out our main Monetization Programs, this programs are critical to making money from our blogs. Clickbank - Find tens of thousands of digital products to promote online. You definitely want to sign up and be a Clickbank Affiliate Google Adsense - Get paid for displaying targeted Google ads on your site. A must for Bloggers Commission Junction - Provides affiliate publishers with opportunities to partner with leading advertisers and access to millions of affiliate links. Linkshare- Similar to Commission Junction, allows you to promote products from thousands of major websites. Paydotcom - Similar to Clickbank, Promote affiliate products with Paypal as the payment method. Amazon Affiliate Program - Another Must for Bloggers, Access to all Amazon Products translates into cash for you. Skadoogle - Monetize your Websites and Blogs with multiple streams of passive residual income.
The great thing here is that all of these great programs are free. As you go along, you will ad new tools in your toolbox but these programs are all you need to make money blogging
My next series of posts will be dealing with building your Wordpress blog; starting off will the all important topic of picking a theme.
